About the Director
Dr. Sandeep Adke is well qualified in General orthopaedics & having 2 master degrees from India. He has done his fellowship training at Russian Ilizarov scientific center. He is the first fellow at RISC RTO. He has been trained by Prof. V. I. Shevtsov, former director RISC – RTO, Kurgan, Russia. He is well worse with all aspects of Ilizarov technique. And having vast experience in treating patients with Ilizarov technique. He has presented many research papers, delivered guest lectures, conducted workshop at National & international level. He was felicited by Russia Government by prestigious “Soviet land Nehru award “ in 1981. He has visited Russia first time at his age at 11 yrs.in 1981. He is the first cosmetic orthopedic surgeon & invented this branch in 1999. He has performed world’s first pelvic widening surgery in 2007;where pelvis girth was increased by 3 inches.
